DVD Copying Software
The best DVD copying software should be able to handle a wide range of output formats including those utilized by online video sharing sites as well as portable device formats as used by products such as iPods, Zunes and PSPs. DVD copying software should also have the ability to copy any DVD and have burning functions that are compatible with both a variety of disk types (media) and DVD burners.
The DVD copying software should have all of the above as well as more advanced functions such as the ability to re-compress the DVD files without noticeable loss of quality or compatibility, the ability to copy any DVD as well as the ability to select only those parts of the DVD you wish to copy. All of the above should be achieved easily and quickly.
What you should be getting:
1. Able to handle and re-compress large video files effortlessly.
2. CSS decryption.
3. The ability to exclude bonus material from any DVD such as subtitles, extra scenes etc.
4. Multiple disc format support. Dual layer DVDs, +R, -R, +RW, -RW etc.
5. Proven intractability with a wide range of DVD burners and burner firmware.
6. Restores defective or scratched DVDs.
7. Easy to install, setup and use and remains stable.
8. Lossless 1 to 1 DVD copy as well as near lossless recompression to either smaller file size or other file format.
9. Advanced feature set for those who wish to go beyond the "one click DVD copy" process and take more control.
My choices for DVD copying software are either DVD Fab.or 1Click DVD Copy These programs will copy any DVD you throw at them, are easy to install and use as well as being very stable.
DVD Copying / Conversion Software
1. DVD Fab
My first choice for DVD copying software is DVD Fab. This program will copy any DVD you throw at it, is easy to install and use as well as being very stable.
You can read the full review page here DVDFAB Full Review or you find out more about it from their website by clicking here to go to DVD Fab.net.
2. 1Click DVD Copy
1click DVD Copy is only just beaten out by DVDFab because of the necessity to install an additional free program to decrypt copy protected DVDs. Again you get a solidly performing DVD copying and DVD conversion software. Because it specializes in the changes in DVD structure that the commercial companies are introducing at an alarming rate it has great correction abilities. 3. Roxio Copy and Convert 3
Finally if you are looking for good reliable DVD burning software that will also serve as DVD copying software then you really can't go wrong with a known brand like Roxio. My choice for a solidly performing DVD burning, DVD copying software and DVD conversion software would be Roxio Copy and Convert 3.
If you are interested in a multimedia suite then Roxio Creator 2009 is an excellent choice as well.

DvdReMake Pro
Due to the complex internal nature of DVDs it is difficult to be able to combine three 8cm DVDs into one full sized DVD and still retain the original menu structure. This is important because that's where all the thumbnails of your footage are stored and indexed.
With DvdReMake Pro you can simply follow a "point and click" process to combine up to three mini DVDs on to one full sized DVD whilst retaining all the original menus and index structure and with no loss of quality.
The program works quite simply for that purpose but for those of you who want or need to delve deeper it also includes very powerful features for DVD error correction, advanced DVD disc repair and troubleshooting or to completely re-author the original, discarding unnecessary features, soundtracks, subtitles etc.
Although these are my choices for DVD Copying Software you may have different needs. You are always welcome to hit the Contact button and send me a note and I will endeavour to help in any way I can.

Alternately you can take a look at the DimadSoft site for yourself here:
Without access to the original thumbnails and menus it becomes very difficult to find what you are looking for amongst all the clips on one DVD. Some people also like to re-use RW DVDs in their camcorder so that presents the problem of archiving again.
They beat out the others because of their better ability to correct some of the various problems that can occur as a result of wear and tear on discs as well as burn errors on home made discs. You can read more about that on the DVD Disc Repair page.
You get an excellent DVD copying and DVD conversion software with the added bonus of knowing that just about any problem DVD you have can be handled by this software.
It beats out the number two choice because of its better ability to correct damaged or corrupted DVDs that can occur as a result of wear and tear on discs as well as burn errors on home made discs.
