Ok, the coolest part of the whole TrueVelocity Acceleration development within PowerDirector 9 is the ability to upscale standard definition footage to high definition output.

Like most people I have a back catalogue of SD footage and projects so the ability to upscale standard-definition video content to HD quality is pretty appealing.

I have had CyberLink PowerDirector as my choice for the best video editing software for the home user, hobbyist or even aspirational amateur for some time now.

Over the years they have managed to stay ahead of the pack by adding useful features rather just “shiny stuff” to attract attention and have worked steadily to keep the software user friendly and stable.
